My Yoga Journey
Jenelle Kitto is the founder of Radiomud, where she blends the art of yoga with creative ceramic art expression. Her yoga and meditation journey began at 17, cultivating these practices to transform mental health struggles. She deepened her practice while studying holistic nutrition and herbology and embodying motherhood in her early 20's. In 2010 she found herself on a jet plane to India, where her yoga teacher journey began at Sivananda ashram. Her practice evolved through various styles, including, Yin, Yoga, Nidra, Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga and Myofascial Yoga. She has had the privilege of studying under renowned yoga teachers Bernie Clark and Diana Batts, and Tanis Fishman. Jenelle has led retreats locally and abroad, and co-facilitated multiple 200-hour yoga teacher trainings with Amy Thiessen, helping guide aspiring new teachers. Her 300-hour Myofascial Yoga certification with Christine Wushke and Joanne Avison profoundly deepened her understanding of fascia and how to cultivate a self-expressive, trauma-informed approach to yoga movement and healing journeys.
Jenelle expresses the art of yoga and living in a transformational world through her ceramic art and yoga teachings. Her yoga classes are rooted in mindfulness and invite students to connect with their bodies in a profound new way. In her classes, you can expect to dive into the fascia’s intricate web, uncover long-held tension, build strength, increase range of movement, somatically unwind, and regulate the nervous system with creative rhythms, balance and flow.

Class Description
Tune the Mind, Body and Frequency of your Future. Master the art of listening, feeling and writing the next page of your story. The body is an orchestra, the mind a maestro. We are vibrational beings.
Conscious Music, Mantras and Sound Healing Instruments will resonate as we mindfully move into stillness and deep-states of relaxation and subconscious exploration.
Yin Yoga is a slow, introspective practice which calms the nervous system and invites gentle release.
Myofascial tissues are the biological page where your life’s story is written. Myofascial yoga is somatic experiencing — literally tuning into the architecture and internet of our body’s interconnected systems.
Yoga Nidra is guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep.” This lucid state of conscious-awareness opens a window into the realm between wakefulness & sleep, and creates freedom to plant new seeds. A 30-45min Yoga Nidra experience may leave you feeling like you’ve indulged in a restorative three-hour nap.
All levels welcome! No previous experience required.

About Myofascial Yoga
Our bones are created with the same elements, but each body is unique.
Q: Why can two people can do the same yoga pose, but feel very different things?
A: Biotensegrity
The forces of tension and compression play a role in the integrity of our body. Many people view the body through a biomechanical, physical lense. Bones, tendons and ligaments play a role with alignment, both on and off the mat. Fascia Yoga, shifts the perspective, viewing the body as whole, through its fascia matrix network.
A typical MYOFASCIAL YOGA class may include:
-
Lying on fascia yoga balls or other soft props
-
Passive yin or restorative poses, with or without the balls
-
Gentle rhythmic or rebounding motions
-
Intuitive somatic movement to unwind the body
-
Strengthening and stretching exercises
-
Mindfulness meditation
Myofascial Yoga invites students to cultivate a personal yoga practice that is mindfulness-based and trauma-informed. Intuitively unwind, build strength and restore balance with gentle somatic movements, neuromuscular re-education, breath work and rhythmic motions. Release tension with or without soft fascia balls and props in passive Yin/Restorative and Hatha postures.
Myofascial yoga moves beyond traditional yoga and alignment theories to foster a deeper connection and understanding of the whole body's natural rhythms and intuitive nature.
